Old Saxon is a member of (the West-)Germanic branch of the Indo-European language family. It is attested from the 8th to the 12th centuries AD. The corpus consists of few texts, the most important being the poetic texts Heliand of almost 6000 verses and (fragments of) the Old Saxon Genesis. Besides these, there are baptismal vows, blessings and commentary to the psalms.
The nominals inflected in three numbers, three genders and five cases (nominative, genitive, accusative, dative, instrumental).
The examples of adjective valence are under construction.
